Your application will be considered if your charity or organisation meets our application criteria. Please ensure you read these carefully before you apply.
Applicants can apply for a maximum grant of £5,000.
The trustees usually meet quarterly, in January, April, July and October, so applications can take up to three months to be assessed. Following the meeting, we will write to you and let you know whether or not your application has been successful.
The Foundation will not usually award grants to an applicant that has:
- Previously submitted an unsuccessful application to the Charity in the past 12 months;
- Previously submitted an application where the applicant failed the Charity Trustees' due diligence checks and the issues identified at that time have not been addressed;
- Previously received a grant from the Charity in the previous three years;
- Been submitted by an individual.
No, you don't have to be a member to apply. Any charity or organisation that meets our application criteria can apply.
The Charitable Foundation was established by Leek Building Society, but makes its decisions independently.
