Residential Investment Buy to Let

Our standard buy to let mortgage is for properties that you let on an Assured Shorthold Tenancy to someone who is not related to you.

Regulated Buy to Let

Like our standard buy to let, but where your rental property is occupied by an immediate family member.

Non-homeowner Buy to Let

If you don’t own the property you live in, but still want to buy or re-mortgage a property to let out, then this mortgage is for you.

Holiday Lets

If you’re looking to buy or re-mortgage a property that’s offered for let on a short-term, holiday let basis for at least 210 days per year, then this is for you.

Limited Company Buy to Let

If you wish to purchase or re-mortgage a buy to let property which is, or will be, owned by a Limited Company set up as a special purpose vehicle (SPV) for holding and letting residential investment property.

Most of our mortgages are portable so you may be able to transfer your mortgage to your new property.

    Representative Example (based on a Non-portfolio Investment Property purchase):

    The overall cost for comparison is given as the Annual Percentage Rate of Charge (APRC) and includes all fees incurred relating to the mortgage and product.  The APRC allows you to compare the cost of different products.

    On a mortgage of £250,000.00 on an interest only basis payable over 25 years initially on a fixed rate for 2 years fixed at 4.70% and then on our Standard Variable Rate (SVR) of 7.99% (variable) for the remaining 23 years you would pay:

    1 monthly repayment of £32.10, followed by

    24 monthly repayments of £975.47, followed by

    276 monthly repayments of £1,653.90

    1 final repayment of £250,000.00

    The total amount payable would be £731,554.78 made up of the loan amount of £250,000.00 plus interest (£479,919.78), product fee of £1,495, a funds transfer fee of £20 and legal fee of £120.
