Our next defibrillator has been installed outside Cornwell’s Chemist in Newcastle-Under-Lyme town centre, providing lifesaving equipment for local people in need.
The install comes off the back of a partnership we launched earlier this year with AEDdonate to install 100 defibrillators across Staffordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire over the next four years.
We commenced this life-saving initiative in October when our first defibrillator was installed in Uttoxeter. Now with the second installation outside Cornwell’s Chemist on Newcastle’s High Street, the area is becoming better equipped to offer residents and visitors a critical resource in times of medical emergencies.
Our Newcastle Branch Manager, Richard Czapski, said:

Cornwell’s is the latest local business we’ve been able to work with to see this fantastic scheme make a real difference in our community. I’m extremely proud to be a part of this programme which will help to save lives for many years to come".
Our Newcastle branch is located on Ironmarket, not far from where the new defibrillator is situated. Our commitment to install the 100 units was driven by our belief that access to defibrillators can make a significant difference in emergency situations, potentially saving lives.
We’ll continue to make a positive difference to our local communities, and the installation of this defibrillator further demonstrates how we’re doing just that where it matters most.
