We believe that the induction, training and support you receive at the start of your career with us, sets you up for the future. We tailor the first 12 weeks in your new role to give you a warm welcome along with the training and support you require for your role.
You’ll also have a dedicated mentor from your team so that you have a ‘go to’ person for support.
Your ongoing personal development is an important factor during your career at Leek Building Society. You will be encouraged to take responsibility for your own development whilst having support from us along the way.
There will be opportunities for you to take on more responsibility and participate in projects and initiatives across the Society to develop your experience.
We deliver an in-house Leadership Programme for our managers to support them to perform at their best.
We have an Aspiring Leader Programme for a small group of staff looking to take the ‘next step’ in their career. Our programme has been recognised by the Chartered Management Institute, which means that our Aspiring Leaders receive high quality learning, with external recognition. They also have mentoring from senior leaders through the programme to fast track their development.
