Their approach is flexible and inclusive, with support ranging from traditional talking therapies through to creative psychotherapy options, including art psychotherapy, drama psychotherapy and dance movement psychotherapy. This allows people to access support in a way that works best for them.
Right now, demand for these services has never been higher, while funding is becoming increasingly difficult for many charities to secure. As an independent local organisation, YESS is currently working to raise £25,000 by July 2026 to ensure they can continue delivering this vital support.
While our partnership with YESS was established before this fundraising target was announced, we’re proud that our donation can still contribute towards their wider efforts at an important time for the charity.
A key part of how we’re able to support initiatives like this comes from more members choosing to receive communications digitally rather than by post. This reduces production and postage costs, allowing us to redirect savings into community support.
This year, those collective efficiencies have helped us provide £17,706 in funding to YESS, helping them continue delivering services that many people rely on, often at the point they need them most.
As Samantha, Charity Lead at YESS, shared during our visit, support like this helps the charity plan ahead with greater confidence and continue providing accessible mental health services to those who need them.
It’s a powerful reminder that small decisions, when made collectively, can create meaningful impact in our communities.
