New defibrillator offers lifesaving support to grassroots football

4th March 2024
Cheadle Primary School defibrillator

We’re pleased to announce the installation of a new defibrillator at FC Hanley on Potteries Park in Stoke-on-Trent, providing lifesaving equipment for people in need.

The install comes off the back of our commitment to install 100 defibrillators across Staffordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire over the next four years. Now with the installation on FC Hanley’s premises, the local area is becoming better equipped to offer visitors a critical resource in times of medical emergencies.

Our Hanley Branch Manager, Kieran Fallows, said:

“Having our next defibrillator at FC Hanley has enabled us to go even further in looking after members of the community. This will provide FC Hanley and the residents placed locally with the peace of mind that if needed, critical care equipment is available.

“It’s an honour to be able to provide our local community with this life saving unit and work even closer with FC Hanley, which is something that is close to my heart. We look forward to continuing our support to this fantastic club.”

Our commitment to install the 100 units was driven by our belief that access to defibrillators can make a significant difference in emergency situations, potentially saving lives.

We’ll continue to make a positive difference to our local communities, and the installation of this defibrillator further demonstrates how we’re doing just that where it matters most.
