    • To lead branches under their responsibility, ensuring the delivery of great customer experiences and desired customer outcomes.
    • To recruit, develop, and lead their branch team, ensuring that all objectives are achieved to support the delivery of the Society’s Corporate Plan.

    Job Purpose & Scope

    ​To work as part of the Mortgage Operations function with responsibility for processing new mortgage applications from receipt through to offer stage, in a compliant manner and in line with the Society’s policies/procedures and service level agreements.     Job Purpose & Scope

    We're looking for a friendly and customer-focused Customer Assistant to join our Branch Network team.​

    This is an exciting opportunity to build a career within financial services while making a genuine difference to our members. As one of the first points of contact for customers, you'll play a key role in creating positive experiences, identifying customer needs and helping members access the products and services that are right for them.​

    You'll work as part of a supportive team, contribute to the success of the branch and have opportunities to develop your skills, knowledge and career within an award-winning organisation.

    As a Customer Assistant, you’ll be key to the following:

    • Delivering outstanding service to customers across face-to-face, telephone and digital channels.

    • Building strong relationships with new and existing members.

    • Identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products and services or referring customers to specialist colleagues.

    • Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.

    • Supporting branch performance and helping achieve branch objectives.
